If you are new to Australia the Mates at RMIT program can help you to:

• meet students across RMIT Colleges, Schools and campuses
• settle in to being a student
• find out about Melbourne.

What do I get out of the Mates at RMIT program?

When you sign up to the Mates at RMIT program you will get a mentor, who can:

• give you advice on Australia, Melbourne and RMIT
• let you know about a range of social events and activities before and during your studies
• put you in contact with services that can give you advice on your studies at RMIT
• support you to develop important life skills.

Mentee registrations for semester 2, 2012 will open later in May.  Please visit this website for the application link after May 21.

Who can become a mentee?

To be a mentee, you must be:

• enrolled and studying at RMIT
• over 18 years of age
• a new commencing international, RMIT English Worldwide, Exchange or Study Abroad
• rural/remote or interstate student.
