Kuala Lumpur and Singapore celebrate
More than 150 students celebrated their achievements at RMIT University graduation ceremonies in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

In Kuala Lumpur, Acting Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Gill Palmer, said: "Many RMIT programs in Malaysia offer students hands-on experience in their chosen field.
"For example, students in our Business, Accountancy, Management, Information Technology and Computer Science programs all take part in work integrated learning in Kuala Lumpur.
"This genuine connection with industry means that the skills and knowledge taught in RMIT programs is up-to-date and in high demand.
"Today, I would like to congratulate the five students who are graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy.
"Their research ranges from the interaction of nutrient availability and endurance training on skeletal muscle adaptation in trained humans, to a study on fabrication, morphology and performances of bi-layer electrospun nanofibre membranes."
In Singapore, she told the audience: "RMIT works in partnership with the Singapore Institute of Management, Stansfield College, SMa Institute of Higher Learning and Air Transport Training College to provide innovative education.
"I would like to thank all our Singapore partners involved with this important endeavour."
Professor Palmer congratulated three students graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy.
"Their research ranges from enhancing our understanding of how intracellular signalling pathways are activated in human skin cells by ultraviolet light and how they change when these cells become cancerous, to examining the impact of moderator variables on the acceptance of mobile broadband technology in Indonesia."
