Intent
To provide for consistent practice across the university of onshore international students whose visa status changes during their enrolment in an RMIT award program.

1. Onshore international students who are granted Permanent Residency at any time following their enrolment in an RMIT award program will be guaranteed (a) a domestic full-fee place if they are an undergraduate, postgraduate coursework or research student; (b) a State-Operating Grant funded place if they are a TAFE student. |

2. International Refugee and Asylum Seeker students (Citizenship code: “TPV”) admitted under the Refugee and Asylum Seeker ACESS Scheme into RMIT award programs who are granted permanent residency or permanent humanitarian visa status will be guaranteed a Commonwealth Supported Place. |

3. Onshore international students who are granted permanent residency will complete a Change of Citizenship/Immigration Status Form, and attach documentary evidence of their change of status. |
