Taught computer aided industrial design at the National School of Design, Swinburne University (1996-98) and at a Masters level at The Industrial Research Institute, Swinburne (IRIS) in 1999. Currently finishing a PhD by research in orthopaedic instrumentation design at IRIS.

Teaching
Lecturer and coordinator of 2 nd Year design studios; coordinator of technology within Industrial Design programs.
Research Interests
Varied interests within the product development/manufacturing areas, but with a main focus on medical product design. Current research is directed towards designing an instrument that will minimise the risks involved in Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstruction (orthopaedic) operations. The instrument will provide an accurate drill guide that locates the ACL and removes the subjective 'eyeing' component from the surgeons’ decision making process.
Interested in the design processes and systems design of surgical, pharmaceutical and general products, and to this end have designed and developed various medical products in a variety of areas. Have also produced product documentation/failure documents for various law firms in Melbourne.
