ATN Industry Doctoral Training Centre in Mathematics and Statistics

Welcome to the RMIT University node of the Australian Technology Network's Industry Doctoral Training Centre (Mathematics and Statistics). The IDTC (Mathematics and Statistics) is the first Doctoral Training Centre in Australia.
This innovative doctoral training program will train graduates in mathematical or statistical techniques, modelling methodologies and communication and business skills for future employment in Australian industry.
Industry based research projects are central to the doctoral training centre, with doctoral candidates able to undertake a PhD level research project of critical importance to an industry partner, supported by academic supervisors with additional supervision from partner organisations.
Nodes of the IDTC (Mathematics and Statistics) are located in each Australian mainland state, at all of the ATN Universities.
