Award of the degree/graduation policy - higher degrees by research
Award of the degree/graduation
Once a thesis/project is classified as passed, and once all the requirements of the Regulations have been met, and final archival copy submitted, the Research Committee shall recommend to the Academic Board that the candidate be now admitted to the appropriate degree. Once approval by Academic Board is given, the SGR will arrange for the final archival copy to be received by the Library. The SGR will then arrange with the Examinations, Awards and Graduations Unit for the graduation to occur.
The awards of PhD, Master by Research, Professional Doctorate and PhD by Publication are made without gradings.
