Remedial Massage (Myotherapy)
Myotherapy is the assessment, treatment and management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. A myotherapist can treat a wide range of conditions, from sporting or occupational injuries to overuse or chronic neuromuscular disorders, while also helping to prevent injury.
The RMIT myotherapy program is dedicated to maintaining high standards of myotherapy education, and has a genuine commitment to maximising graduate capabilities and opportunities. The program provides both the practical skills and scientific knowledge required to provide treatment in a variety of clinical situations.
RMIT’s focus is on the practical application of key skills and knowledge, and students learn not only how to do things, but also why. Close links with industry provides students with opportunities to put their skills to work while they are studying.
