Information Technology Services

Information Technology Services (ITS) provides RMIT University with information and communication technology in support of RMIT’s research, learning teaching and administrative activities.

ITS is investing in six key projects for SAB that will create a significant technology footprint for RMIT.

Leading this change is the new virtual desktop infrastructure (myDesktop) which will become the largest of its kind in Australia. This is backed by complete wireless coverage to support ‘anywhere, anytime student computing' where mobile computing devices allow students flexible access educational software. Add to this the convenience of a secure, environmentally friendly printing solution, and enhanced software for recording lectures and collaborating in the classroom - all of which allow SAB to lead the University into a new era of learning.
