Student profile – Loc Ly

I chose to study civil engineering at RMIT because I was after a more practical approach.

RMIT’s emphasis on group work develops your skills in working with other students. I have made a lot of good friends and memories during the course of my studies.

I have loved the structures part of my degree, especially ‘Long Span & High Rise Structures’ an elective subject that looks at the collaboration between architects and structural engineers.

Ultimately, I’d like to work in structural engineering, hopefully working for a firm that allows me to work and travel all over the world.
