Program: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering)

I decided to study Mechanical Engineering, after realising that that the parts of my job in finance that I enjoyed - problem solving and process optimisation - were more related to engineering.

I chose RMIT because I had heard that their applied approach to learning ensured graduates were more capable in the workforce. I also enjoyed visiting Open Day, and you can’t beat the location.

A highlight of my studies has been testing the scientific theory that we are taught in practical laboratories. We also learn about the non-technical aspects engineering, such as teamwork, time-management and ethics which helps prepare us for the workforce.

During my studies I hope to undertake a semester on international exchange and plenty of work experience over the holidays.
